4th Annual Shred Fest Event Recap

Over 70 guests attended our Shredfest 2015 “Trash & Treasures” event and 5,050 pounds of paper were safely shredded and kept out of the hands of prying eyes or potential identity thief. While sampling from an array of doughnuts, bagels, fruit, and coffee guests perused the interesting and informative vendor booths…most interesting was getting their blood pressure taken by the Talbot County Dept of Emergency Services right after filling up on doughnuts! The Dept. of Emergency Services also provided attendees with free “File of Life” envelopes that they will be able to maintain in their homes should emergency response personnel need access to their medical information. Upham Antiques was a hit as usual, giving free antique appraisals. NOTE: Someone left behind their antique. If you can describe it to us you can claim it!
The Talbot Humane Society and Talbot Unleashed provided lots of info for pet owners. Shore BBQ owner Montia Rice served up delicious BBQ beef and BBQ turkey sandwiches that smelled amazing! And for anyone in need of a little R&R, Lisa Baynard was there to provide free chair massages. Many of our guests took advantage of this! We also want to thank the rest of our vendors for coming and providing information to everyone:
